We are looking for a microbiologist to run day-to-day testing in our in-house microbiology lab, so that every batch of baby food and snacks we make is released safe. You will also guide the interns who train with us.

Who can apply M.Sc / B.Sc Microbiology with food, pharma or dairy lab experience (freshers with strong basics are also considered)

What you will do

  • Carry out microbiological testing of raw materials, in-process and finished products
  • Release batches based on test results and maintain batch-wise records
  • Run the environmental monitoring and hygiene verification programme
  • Maintain media, cultures, equipment calibration and lab documentation
  • Support FSSAI, organic and customer audits
  • Train and supervise microbiology interns

Testing you will own

  • Total plate count (TPC / aerobic plate count)
  • Yeast and mould count
  • Coliforms, E. coli and Enterobacteriaceae
  • Media preparation, sterilisation and autoclave validation
  • Environmental monitoring - surface swabs, air plates and hand swabs
  • Water quality testing for the plant

Who can apply

  • M.Sc or B.Sc in Microbiology (or a closely related subject)
  • Experience in a food, dairy, pharma or testing laboratory preferred
  • Working knowledge of GLP, FSSAI requirements and food safety systems
  • Able to travel daily to Hayath Nagar, Hyderabad
