Still pursuing your education? Students are very welcome to intern with us. Please note that this is not a paid internship for students - you will get hands-on training and a completion certificate. We also need a letter from your Head of Department (HOD) before you start the internship.

What you will do

Prepare culture media, sterilise glassware and run the autoclave
Test raw materials, in-process samples and finished products for microbial counts
Carry out environmental monitoring of the production floor
Record results and help prepare batch-wise test reports
Follow good laboratory practice (GLP) and food safety procedures

Tests you will get hands-on experience with

Total plate count (TPC / aerobic plate count)
Yeast and mould count
Coliforms, E. coli and Enterobacteriaceae
Media preparation, sterilisation and autoclave validation
Environmental monitoring - surface swabs, air plates and hand swabs
Water quality testing for the plant

Who can apply

Pursuing or completed B.Sc / M.Sc in Microbiology, Biotechnology or a related life science
Basic knowledge of aseptic technique, staining and culturing
Careful, organised and comfortable following standard procedures
Able to travel daily to Hayath Nagar, Hyderabad

Yes. For students who are still pursuing their education, this is not a paid internship, but you will receive a completion certificate on successful completion. We need a letter from your Head of Department (HOD) before you start.

Where will I work?
On-site at our unit in Hayath Nagar, Hyderabad, Telangana 501505 - close to LB Nagar, Vanasthalipuram, Nagole and Uppal.

I am not from Hyderabad. Can I apply?
Yes, you can apply. The role is on-site, so you will need to arrange your own stay in Hyderabad.
